USF is the ninth largest university in the nation, serving 45,244 students on campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota-Manatee and Lakeland. The University offers 219 degree programs at the undergraduate, graduate, specialty and doctoral levels, including the doctor of medicine. In addition, USF offers graduate certificates, non-degree seeking students information, non-credit continuing education courses, and teacher certification. USF's academic programs are guided by the Office of the Provost, in the Division of Academic Affairs, which is responsible for academic policies, decisions and educational budgets of the University.
